Starting a business
Foreign-based companies seeking to establish a base anywhere in Sweden (including Skåne) can choose between two main company structures. The most common is a limited liability company, which has a sole owner and is suitable for businesses of any size. The alternative is to open a branch (subsidiary), which is not incorporated in Sweden but remains part of your foreign-based based company.
There is no need to secure a Swedish partner in order to start a new business in Sweden, and for most businesses no operating license is required.
- Simple and speedy business start-ups
- Open a Limited Liability Company or an overseas subsidiary
- No Swedish partner is required to start a business
